Come and See

I'm Spiritual but Not Religious

Maybe you sense there is more than the material world but distrust institutions and labels. That is a good instinct to bring here. Underneath the systems and the baggage is a Person: Jesus, who was harder on cold religion than almost anyone, and who invited people simply to follow him. You do not have to sign up for a system to meet him. Come and see the person before the institution.

Frequently asked questions

Can I explore Jesus without joining a religion?
Yes. You can read the Gospels and consider the person of Jesus on your own, with no membership or commitment required. Many begin exactly here, curious about him rather than about an institution.
Wasn't Jesus critical of organised religion?
Often, yes. He confronted religious hypocrisy and cold ritual directly, and welcomed people the religious establishment pushed aside. His invitation was relational: follow me.
Where should I start?
The Gospel of John, which centres on the person of Jesus, alongside Why Jesus and a survey of how the traditions answer life's biggest questions.
