Facing sickness or a surgery, for yourself or someone you love, can be frightening. These verses speak peace into the fear, ask for God's healing hand, and rest the whole matter in His care.

We pray honestly for healing, and God is able. Yet the deepest healing Jesus came to bring reaches even further than the body, into the part of us that outlasts it. On the cross He carried our sickness and our sorrow, and by His resurrection He promises a day when every disease is undone and every tear is wiped away. Whether the healing you long for comes now or in that day, you can place yourself in the hands of the One who loves you and who heals.
