When life is heavy and the days feel like too much, these verses do not pretend the trouble away. They point to a God who is nearest in the hardest places and who does not let go.

The One these verses point to: Jesus
It matters that the God of the Bible is not distant from suffering. In Jesus, He entered it Himself, was betrayed, grieved, and broken, so that when you say no one understands, He truly does. He does not hand you a formula that makes the pain reasonable. He offers Himself, present in the dark, promising that this chapter is not the end of your story. You can bring Him the whole weight of it, exactly as it is.
