Be still, and know
The Sanctuary is a quiet place to be still with God and His Word. Not emptying your mind, but filling it with Scripture, dwelling on a single passage until it becomes prayer.
What you can do here
A two-minute stillness
Take one line, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). Read it slowly. Breathe. Read it again, resting on one word, still, then know, then God. Let it become a prayer: quiet me; I trust you. Sit in the quiet a moment longer than is comfortable. That is the beginning of meditation on Scripture. Try it next with Psalm 23.
Real stories
This is not only an idea. Read real stories of peace over anxiety from the family: what God has actually done, told by the people it happened to.
