What Micah 7:19 Means
Micah 7:19
“He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”Micah 7:19 (KJV)
What Micah 7:19 means
He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. God does not merely forgive at arm's length; he hurls our sins into the deepest water, out of sight and out of reach. The failure that still haunts you is, in God's own record, drowned and gone.

Micah 7:19 in context
18Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
