What 1 Peter 3:15 means
Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. Christians are called to be able to explain their hope, gently and respectfully, not argumentatively. It assumes there is a hope in you worth asking about, and calls you to know why you believe, so you can share it with grace.
